For instance, Eddie Murphy will always be Donkey from Shrek, while Robin Williams will always be Genie from Aladdin. There are other popular animated voices that you may recognize as other characters from non-animated TV and film productions. Here are some you might be familiar with.
1. Scott Weinger
Almost everyone has watched the animated version of Aladdin. It’s safe to say that one of the most memorable characters in the movies is Aladdin himself, and his voice is something that not many people could forget.

2. Moira Kelly
The Lion King is one of the most popular Disney movies out there, and the voices of Simba and Nala are often recognizable. However, not many know that the actress that played Lucas’ mom, Karen, from One Tree Hill, is the same one that voiced adult Nala in The Lion King.
3. Idina Menzel
Elsa, from the movie Frozen, was voiced by Idina Menzel, who also played Maureen in the movie and musical production of Rent. Idina Menzel also played Elphaba in Wicked. Menzel is also working on the production of a modern Cinderella movie, which is set to release in 2021.
4. Frank Welker
Frank Welker has a significant voice. He was able to change his voice several times to play different characters in movies. He voiced Abu in Aladdin, both George and Tony in Curious George, along with Fred in the Scooby-Doo movie and the series.
5. Anika Noni Rose
The voice of Tiana from The Princess and the Frog was played by Anika Noni Rose. She also took on the role of Pauline in Everything, Everything along with Lorell in Dreamgirls. Anika is also set to play a role in the mini-TV series Little Fires Everywhere.
6. Jodi Benson
Another popular voice actor that has played two different roles in classic Disney movies is Jodi Benson. She has voiced numerous characters in Disney movies, but two of her most popular include Ariel in The Little Mermaid and Barbie in Toy Story 3.
7. Christian Bale
Many know Christian Bale for acting in many significant roles in movies including Batman in the Dark Knight trilogy. However, that’s not all he’s known for. Christian Bale has also voiced Thomas in the movie Pocahontas. He’s also working on another Marvel movie, which is set to release in 2022 — Thor: Love and Thunder.
