Ryan Reynolds finally offered his very first remarks on having a fourth child with his wife Blake Lively. Recently, the father of four talked about his family and the new member while making one thing very clear, he would prefer to remain tight-lipped about the child’s gender or name.
The Viral Photo
After making many public appearances while being pregnant, Blake Lively shared a photo of herself on Super Bowl Sunday, where she was visibly not pregnant. The photo went instantly viral and both she and her hubby Ryan Reynolds got bombarded with questions from fans and the media about whether they welcomed a girl or a boy. The Deadpool actor clarified that the photo wasn’t a birth announcement, which is why he wouldn’t say anything to reveal the identity of his newborn baby.
His Feelings
While asked how they’re doing with the new family member, Ryan Reynolds stated that they are all very excited, adding that he and his wife wouldn’t go for it for a fourth time if they didn’t love it. Informing that everybody is doing fantastic, he further added that if he and his wife didn’t figure out their feelings about a fourth child by now, they would be in deep trouble. But now it’s evident that the family is happy and excited after welcoming their fourth child.
The Other Children
Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively share three daughters – James, Inez, and Betty, aged eight, six, and three, respectively. Previously, the couple let Taylor Swift reveal their daughter Betty’s name in her Folklore track, which also had the same name. The lyrics also included all their daughters’ names. Reynolds expressed that, as Taylor Swift had been a close friend, they trusted her implicitly. He also said that it was an absolute honor for them. Though it’s unclear whether the couple has a similar plan this time for their new baby, we can always hope!
